For us at Reison Medical, our customers are the most important thing we have!  Therefore, our aim is to always respond to emails, confirm orders and send quotes the same day!

We manufacture everything ourselves from raw material to finished product and our high quality is widely known around the world and is based on a magnificent professional craft.

Only a few components are outsourced and then assembled by our skilled production technicians.They carefully check all items that goes out from us and do not let anything through the delivery control that is not perfect.

Meet Peter Nyström, Quality and Production Manager

Why did you think working at Reison Medical AB sounded interesting and fun?
I see this position at Reison Medical AB as a challenge and great opportunity to use my gathered experience in a fresh new environment.

What does a quality manager at Reison do?
I´m responsible for maintaining and improving the processes in the quality system to secure high quality products and excellent customer experience.

What are you looking forward to the most with working at Reison?
Being part of a very committed and skilled team.

Is there anything your new colleagues do not know about you yet?
In 2016 I did the “Swedish Klassiker”, combining 90km cross country skiing, 300km cycling, 30km running and 3km swimming, all in one year.

Meet Barbro Rodert, assembly/packing

For how long have you worked at Reison?
48 years

What do you do in your role?
I finalize/assemble some of our products ready for delivery and pack them for shipping.

How does a working day look like for you?
There is a lot of packing, we want to deliver our products quickly so often it is urgent to get the orders away the same day.

What are the biggest challenges in your work?
The challenge is to pack the right thing for the right customer, it is important to keep track when there are a lot of deliveries. After such a long time at Reison, I have very good control of customer-specific wishes!

What did you do before you started working at Reison?
I have worked a very large part of my life at Reison but before that I worked as a nanny.

What do you think is the best thing about your job?
I like that there are many different products we work with, it means that no two days are the same, that you assemble different products and pack different types of shipments. This makes it fun and gives you great variety at work.

What do you think of Reison Medical as a company?
I like that we have kind and nice employees who really support each other.

Meet Johan Åberg, Welder

How long have you worked at Reison?
2 years

What do you do in your role?
I work as a welder so my job is to assemble and prepare products that will be sent to all our customers around the world.

What did you do before you came to us?
Before Reison, I worked as a welder for another, slightly bigger company.

What do you think is the best thing about your job?
I think the variety and freedom is fun at Reison. You have to work with making many different products and many different techniques since we have a big product portfolio.

How does a working day look like for you?
I either weld, turn, grind or mill parts for our products. Then I deliver them to the packing team.

What are the biggest challenges in your work?
When I have to solve various challenges / problem solutions that comes up in my work, it is a lot of fun to do it when you manage to come up with a good solution!

What do you think distinguishes Reison Medical as a company?
It’s fun with a small company where you can get to know everyone really well and you really important to Reison Medical.

What do you do in your role?
I weld, turn, mill and grind.

What did you do before you came to us?
Similar job but I worked with equipment for food and pharmaceutical industry.

What do you think is the best thing about your job?
Good co-workers and great freedom to work as you want but with high responsibility of what you do.

How does a working day look like for you?
Different from day to day, some days welding, other days turning and milling.

What are the biggest challenges in your work?
Keep everything organized in the workshop.

How long have you worked at Reison?

What do you do in your role?
I work with assembling, so my job is to assemble and prepare products that will be sent to our customers.

What did you do before you came to us?
Measured and brazed shunts and packed these.

What do you think is the best thing about your job?
That I get to work in a free role with a lot of responsibility.

What does a working day look like for you?
I assemble products, print manuals and labels and unpack materials that will be used for future products.

What are the biggest challenges in your work?
To match all batch numbers together with the system and to assemble difficult parts all by myself.

How long have you worked at Reison?

What do you do in your role?
I work as an assembler at Reison Medical and assemble all products ready for delivery.

What did you do before you came to us?
I made power shunts at another company.

What do you think is the best thing about your job?
That I get the freedom to solve problems that comes up during my work.

What does a working day look like for you?
I check what orders to prepare, manufacture according to orders, check incoming orders and write down missing parts.

What are the biggest challenges in your work?
To keep track of the batches and follow the routines of our new system.

Kirill Kurolenkov, R&D

How long have you worked at Reison?
5 months.

What do you do in your role?
As an R&D engineer, I develop new products and update and develop existing products. I constantly looking for new solutions that I believe can satisfy end users in a good way.

What did you do before you came to us?
I studied at Mälardalen University as an engineer in product development. During the time I wrote my master’s thesis, I had the opportunity to start collaborating and work for Reison Medical AB, which I am very happy about!

What do you think is the best thing about your new job?
The best thing about the job is that there is not much hierarchy, and you can freely talk about anything both with the CEO and the rest of the team.

How does a working day look like for you?
I work on several projects at the same time so it’s different from day to day. I try to figure out and test different solutions for new products, I make models in 3D, have project meetings and meetings with both customers and other companies or I’m in the production making prototypes.

What are the biggest challenges in your work?
“less is more”, the biggest challenge is often to come up with simple solutions that are reliable, durable and user-friendly. Since it is easy to create an unnecessarily complicated product, this is difficult to do. The product should be simple but with the necessary functions.

What do you think distinguishes Reison Medical as a company?
What distinguishes Reison is that the management really cares, both about the work team and about our customers.

Meet Rebecka Söderberg, Assembling

How long have you worked at Reison?
6 months.

What do you do in your role?
I assemble and complete products that we will send out to our customers.

What did you do before you came to us?
Previously, I worked at Västerås Hospital in the kitchen and with cleaning.

What do you think is the best thing about your job?
The colleagues are the best and that the job is varied.

What does a working day look like for you?
No days are the same so it’s hard to answer but mainly I assemble and print labels and manuals.

What are the biggest challenges in your work?
To relate to the hard guidelines that we have in the work process, to know what is okay to send or must be processed.

What do you think distinguishes Reison Medical as a company?
That there is a very familiar feeling in the workplace and that Reison looks after its staff and wants them to have a good time at work!

Frida Robbe, Marketing

Why did you think working with Reison Medical AB sounded interesting and fun?
I think Reison Medical has great products and great potential in growing. I also see a lot that we can do with marketing to support sales and I am eager to start with that!

What does a Head of Marketing at Reison do?
I´m responsible for overall marketing, that includes digital channels such as website, social media and newsletters. I also prepare printed material, plan events, photoshoots, product launches, videos and much more.

What are you looking forward to the most with working at Reison?
To get to work with the Reison team and achieve a lot together!

What did you do before you started working at Reison?
I have been working for more than 12 year within marketing, mostly as a marketing manager. Many of my jobs has been in the medical field.

What do you think is the best thing about your job
I love working internationally and having contact with people around the world every day. I also like that I get to work with so many different things within marketing.

Cecilia Jakobsson, CEO

How long have you been at Reison Medical?
3 years

What´s your role?
As a CEO in a small company, you must be prepared to do a little bit of everything everywhere! Sales and marketing and business development are my main responsibilities. I try to have contact with our customers as often as possible, the customers are the most important we have so I want to connect with them even closer.

Where did you work before you came to Reison Medical?
I was working as a CEO for two sales companies and as Nordic sales manager. At that company we sold medical equipment such as transfer aids etc. From the beginning I am an occupational therapist, but it was many years since I worked in that kind of role.

What do you like the most with your job?
That there is great potential for this company, to be part of a fantastic development journey. The staff here are incredible! I have never been at a workplace where loyalty and commitment are as great as at Reison Medical. We are a super team where everyone helps and supports each other.

How does a working day look like for you?
Every day is different! There is a lot of customer contact via video, meetings, emails, and phone. When we have a lot of orders it happens that I both assemble and help with packing.

What do you think differentiates Reison Medical as a company?
An incredibly nice small company that has great potential to grow. Warmth, commitment, passion, loyalty, high speed, extremely good service and support, good and open personnel policy. A company that cares about both its own staff and its customers!
